Here’s what we do. We love building and renovating homes.
This is such a classic example of how you can take a relatively smaller space and create a large impact. This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom rancher style home in North Delta was the subject of quite an overhaul and without changing too much of the original structure, it didn’t have to “break the bank”. When the kitchen was being designed, storage was one of the absolute needs for the homeowners and the designers did a fantastic job collaborating with them and finding solutions that met this criteria. A small home office and desk space was incorporated as well, to fit the needs of a home-based business. New back doors and windows were installed to really allow for a lot of great natural light and provide great access to the backyard which would be used for entertaining. The idea for the bathrooms was simple. 1 with a bathtub and 1 with a custom shower. Subtle colours and unique tile patterns were used to bring out the most of these spaces and fit the style that the homeowners were striving for. There was a family/dining area that was awkwardly divided and we all felt that the best thing to do to keep the home as open as possible, was to extend the opening and knock down a railing that divided the 2 spaces. This allowed for great flow and fluidity throughout the main area of the home and helped with creating seamless dinner parties with friends and family! We couldn’t be happier with the way this turned out and we are even more thrilled that our clients feel the same way!
