Project Manager

As a Project Manager you will be part of an ambitious and hard-working team. You will play a supporting role for an established and award winning renovation and construction business directly under a production coordinator based out of South Delta. The role is physical and no two jobs are ever the same, which keeps things interesting.

Responsibilities:

• You will work hands on while leading a crew of tradesmen to complete jobs for homeowners
• You will be responsible for producing a high quality job, in a respectful and professional manner
• You will interact daily with homeowners and other tradesmen
• You will need to get yourself to and from the jobsite on time with your own transportation
• You will set goals for yourself and your crew
• You will be expected to stay one step ahead and always ask questions when unsure of something

Production and tasks will include:

• Physical manual labour
• Leading production in a safe planned manor
• Reading construction plans and visualizing a final product
• Layout and framing of wall and roof structures
• Installation of windows and doors
• Installation of finish trim work such as baseboard, door casing and crown molding
• Concrete forming
• Assisting other tradesmen
• Organizing and cleaning job site
• Ladder work
• Operating power tools

Qualifications:

• You must have 5+ years of renovations experience and the confidence to lead and complete large scale projects from start to finish
• You must have thorough understanding of residential framing
• You must be goal oriented and be self-motivated
• You must be reliable and take pride in what you do
• You must have grit and determination
• You must be passionate for the renovation and construction industry
• You must be able to take directions and follow instructions
• You must be reliable, friendly and courteous
• You must want to learn and be open to new processes and systems and have a “can do” attitude
• You must be available to work full time hours and occasional Saturdays
• You must own basic hand tools and a pouch as well as steel toed boots
• You must have thorough knowledge in construction and with operating power tools
• You must have a vailed driver’s license and a truck capable of pulling a trailer
• You must have basic computer skills
